Abstract
|
|
|
The author reviewed the 332 charts of child psychiatric patients who had been brought to Department of psychiatry, Seoul Red Cross Hospital from January 1986 to December 1990.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN 1) 332(62.%0 new child patients visited to psychiatric department among the total 5369 new patients from 1986 to 1990.
2) The number of the new child patients had increased year after year.
3) In six ratio between male(54.4%) and female(45.5%0 was 1.2:1, And the most frequent age group was 7~12 years of age.
4) Most frequent diagnosis was epilepsy followed by Somatoform disorder, Stereotype movement disorder.
5) In sibling order, most prevalent was first born(40.4%), followed by last born(37.3%), and only child(12.7%).
